Molly Butcher is a San Francisco-based visual artist, landscape designer at Terremoto, and writer. She was an artist in residence at the Arctic Circle Residency in 2022. Her work has been shown internationally at spaces including the Pack, the Palo Alto Art Center (with Terremoto), and the Neue Galerie Berlin (forthcoming). Her writings have appeared in publications including Metropolis. She holds a BA in Art Practice from Stanford University (2008), an MA in Design Writing from School of Visual Arts (2015), and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley (2020). Butcher runs a bi-weekly creative co-working group in her living room, Pencils & Porridge, with poet Melissa Boucher.
